David Thomas

David Bruce Thomas, age 60, of Bannister, MI, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at his home.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

David was born in Ypsilanti, MI on March 9, 1960, the son of Lee and Phyllis (Dawson) Thomas. He graduated from Ypsilanti High School. David enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing on Lake Michigan and working on classic cars. He had previously worked for Midas Muffler in Ann Arbor and Lansing for many years.

He is survived by his daughters: Jillian and Christopher Pickart, Amanda and Anthony Ondrovick, and Abigail Thomas; granddaughter Lillian Pickart; brothers: Lee and Connie Thomas, Robert Thomas, James Thomas; sisters: Elaine and Anders Sima, and Cathy and Mark Schmidt. He is also survived by nephews: Doug, Steve, James, Mark, Michael, and CJ; and nieces: Tammy, Michelle, and Chazney.  He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis, father Lee, brother Ken, sister Susan, sister-in-law Deborah and niece Lisa.
