David Lee Beachler

David Lee Beachler 75, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, surrounded by loved ones, peacefully, on his own terms.

David was born December 28,1944. Son of John and Lorina (Hayes) Beachler.

David married Linda S. (Bunce) on September 23, 1967. Together they welcomed four children John, Donna, Nathan and Scott into the world. David was a navy vet, worked at Motor Wheel and farmed. David’s love for animals was amazing. He loved fishing, traveling,having coffee and visiting with friends and family. David loved his family and friends deeply, always there when he was needed. He never knew the word “No”. David was a loving soul, and always showed it with a big bear hug and an “ I love you”. He will be missed greatly by everyone.

He is survived by his Son John L. Beachler, Daughter Donna Beachler (Rog Wilson) Dog Peanut (his favorite child) Sister Lorina Kaye (Eric) Richard. Daughter-in-law Rachelle (shawn) Beachler-Smith. Chosen children Justin J. Urbain, Rita and Paul Block and many more. Grandchildren- Brandon, Christopher, Zoie, Dakota, David-Andrew, Nicole, Julia, Selina, Desiree, Zavier, Zane. Great-Grandchildren - Nathan, Parker, Haislee, Alicea, Natellie, David And many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, Brother Richard, Sons Nathan and Scott, Parents John Andrew and Lorina

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca for both Linda and David. Memorials may be given to pay the funeral cost.
