Darlene Mary Barber

     Darlene Mary Barber, age 72, of St. Johns, MI passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her home.
     A Celebration of Life will be held at Main Street Café Banquet Room, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with a luncheon to follow.
     Darlene was born in Detroit, MI on June 26, 1952, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Fleischer) Tadych.
     Darlene was a prep cook at the Big Boy Restaurant in St. Johns. She loved her rooster collection. Darlene selflessly volunteered her time at the Beacon of Hope which was very important to her. Above all, her family was the dearest to her heart and she loved the time they spent together.
     She is survived by her son Corey McDiarmid of St. Johns, MI; daughter Courtney Barber and Chad Jorae of St. Johns, MI; 4 grandchildren: Leah Forbes, Mason Forbes, Alannah Jorae, and Lexie "Peanut" Forbes; her sister Debbie and Dave Gold of Warren, MI. Darlene is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her son George McDiarmid, also her brother Larry Tadych.
     Darlene's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Beacon of Hope for their kind help and support they offered to them.
