Daniel Sandoval

Daniel Sandoval, age 37, of Ithaca passed away Friday, March 6, 2015.

Daniel was born September 7, 1977 to Mauricio Sr. and Maria Teresa (Fuentes) Sandoval in Batesville, Indiana. He married Melinda Ilene Nash October 8, 2005.

Daniel worked for many years at Soaring Eagle Casino. He loved NASCAR and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr., he also loved the Detroit Tigers and wrestling. Daniel loved his family and spent a lot of his time being a great role model for his nieces and nephews.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Melinda; his parents Maria and Mauricio Sandoval Sr.; his brothers Mauricio Sandoval Jr. of Ithaca, Roberto (Theresa) Sandoval of Mt. Pleasant, Dusty (Brittany) Mills of Ithaca; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Sara Fuentes, grandfather Jesus Fuentes, and cousins Rene Alegria and Thomas Fuentes III.

Funeral services for Dan will be 11am Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca and burial will follow at Ithaca Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 6-8pm and Tuesday, March 10, 12:30-8pm at the funeral home.
