Curt Alan Simmon

     Curt Alan Simmon, age 60, of Eagle, MI, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026.
     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fowler, MI, at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with Rev. Fr. John Whitlock presiding. Burial will take place at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fowler, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Goerge Chapel, Fowler, MI.
     Curt was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 13, 1966, the son of William T. and JoAnn B. (Feneis) Simmon. He was a graduate of Fowler High School.
     Curt worked at the Meijer Warehouse in Lansing. He loved spending time with his nephews, niece, great-nephews and great-nieces. Curt enjoyed hunting and fishing. For a hobby he also enjoyed golfing. Curt was a lifetime member of the Oak Hill Gun Club in Portland. He also was a member of Pheasants Forever for many years.
     He is survived by his parents William and JoAnn Simmon; his sister Carol and Craig Helmer; his brother David and Dawn Simmon; nephew Justin Helmer; nephew Craig and Kelsie Simmon; niece: Rachel and Dan Boggs; nephew Derek Simmon (Austin); great-nephews and great-nieces: Oliver, Nash, Hudson, Evelyn, and Hazel. Curt was preceded in death by his brother Brian Simmon.
