Clair A. Holiday age 67 of Riverdale, Michigan died Monday, May 31, 2004 at Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 3, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2004 from 5-8 P.M. Burial will be at Elm Hall Cemetery in Elm Hall, Michigan.
Clair was born on March 18, 1937 in New Haven Township, Gratiot County, Michigan the son of Benjamin & Iris ( Gardner ) Holiday. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1958. Clair married Bonnie Griffin in St. Louis, Michigan on November 25, 1960. He worked for Dow Chemical in Midland as a pipe fitter until his retirement in 1995. He loved his dogs, Cookie & Skeeter. His pride and joy was his old Case farm tractor. He loved to tinker around and was very handy. He loved to spend holidays & special times with family. He resided most of his life in Alma & Riverdale, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Holiday of Riverdale, MI, 3 children, Deborah McKay of Alma, MI, Sherry & Terry Terwilliger of Elwell, MI, Anthony & Jennifer Holiday of Shepherd, MI, 6 grandchildren, Tammy & Tom Holley of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Michelle Ferguson of Alma, MI, Cindy & Tom Merrill of Lansing, MI, Lionel Molina Jr. of Holt, MI, Jennifer Molina of Holt, MI, Shawn Western of St. Louis, MI, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Marvel & Jack McCormack of St. Louis, MI, Darlene Moore of St. Louis, MI, and 1 brother Benson & Marlene Holiday of Alma, MI. He is predeceased by his parents, daughter Sheila Molina, grandson Terry Terwilliger Jr., & 1 sister Thora Derosia.
