Chrystie Marie Groom

     Chrystie Marie Groom, age 47, of Ovid, MI, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at her home.
     Funeral Services will be held at the United Church of Ovid, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
     Chrystie was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 3, 1978, the daughter of William Robert and Kathy Ann (Smith) Groom. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School, with the class of 1996. After high school she went on to ITT Tech, graduating in 1998 with a degree in CAD.
      Chrystie loved God and her family. She enjoyed trips to the beach, especially Lake Michigan. Her trips this summer with Noah to Lake Huron, Higgins Lake, and Mackinaw City were very special to her. She enjoyed country music and had fun memories attending the Morgan Wallen concert with her daughter Jade. She looked forward to games of Scrabble with her mom and ice cream trips to Blue Moon or Culvers. She appreciated the simple joys in life like the fall colors. Chrystie will be remembered as a wonderful mother, daughter, and friend.
     She is survived by her children: Jade Armock, Caleb Armock, and Noah Pugh; her parents Robert and Kathy Groom; her grandmother Barbara Groom; aunts and uncles: Karren and Joe Ford, and Connie Bertrand; great-aunts: Deno Applebee and Norma Smith. She is also survived by many cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Oliver and Barbara Smith, Robert H. Groom, uncles: David Groom, great-uncles: Clare Applebee, Hal Smith, and step-grandfather Fred Meyer.
