Christina M. Clark Miller, 92, passed away at Schnepp Health Care and Rehab 0n July 3, 2016.

She was born July 31, 1923, at home in Ithaca, daughter of Murl and Fern Cummins Clark. She was married to Francis Dean Miller, July 9, 1943. Francis passed away Nov. 2, 1996.

Christina was a graduate of Ithaca Class of 1940. She went to Fort Riley, Kansas when Francis was in the Military and worked as a civilian in the prison laundry. Christina came back to Ithaca to have their family, a son, Richard and daughter, Kay. Christina worked at the Ithaca Motel and Muscott’s Dairy, before working at Wolverine World Wide and retiring in 1969. She volunteered doing several duties at the Presbyterian Church.

She had two sisters, Helen Derry, died March, 1999, Alice Schleder, three Brothers Murl (Speed) Clark, Ithaca, died, April 2006, wife Alta Moffitt (died May 2011),  Frederick Clark ,wife, Kay, St. Louis, Wayne Clark, St. Louis wife Sharon died,( Feb. 14, 2013).

Christina leaves her children, Richard (Sally Plaxton) Miller of DeWitt, Kay (Michael) Lott of St. Louis. Four Grandchildren, Durk Miller of DeWitt, Robb Miller (wife Christina) of St. Johns, Amy (Darren) Malburg, of Hemlock, and Tera (Aaron) Halfmann of Fowler seven Great Grand Children, they are Ashley M. Miller and, Brodrick A. Miller of St. Johns, Garrick and Abigail P. Malburg of Hemlock, Evalynn, Gabriel, and Sophia Halfmann of Fowler.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7,, 2016 at Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Chaplain Chris McNeilly officiating.  Interment will follow in Ithaca Cemetery.  Visitation time will be 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, July 6.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
