Charles Velmar Green

     Charles Velmar “Velmar” Green, age 88, of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
     He is survived by his children: Margery (Mark) VanAtta of Laingsburg, MI; and Craig (Darcy) Green of Elsie, MI; his grandchildren: Kelvin, Justin, and Corbie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret, his infant daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Wayne Webster, his brother and sister-in-law Duane and Grace Green, and his nephew Bryon Green.
