Chad Mikel Doolittle, age 33, of Mt. Holly Springs, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes in St. Louis, Michigan, on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Chad was born in Alma, Michigan, on March 31, 1992, the son of Charles James Doolittle and Sharon Kay (Karek) Doolittle. He graduated from St. Louis High School, with the Class of 2010 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. After his service, Chad settled in Pennsylvania, where he built a career as a Supervisor for Vitro Automotive Glass, a job he truly loved and took great pride in. On September 17, 2022, Chad married the love of his life, Alisha (Arnold) Doolittle, at Presque Isle Park in Marquette, Michigan.
Chad loved spending time with his family and friends and was well known for lovingly picking on those closest to him—especially his sister. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was an all-around outdoorsman who found peace in nature. Above all else, Chad was an amazing girl dad and took immense pride in his daughters.
Chad shared an especially close bond with his father and loved him very much. He always took great care of his dad, whether he was nearby or over 600 miles away, never letting distance stop him from showing up when it mattered. Chad had a generous heart and a giving nature, and he would give the shirt off his back—if he had one on—to anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Alisha Doolittle; his father, Charles Doolittle; his children: Lilith and Valkyrie; and his siblings: Cindy (Brad Bethka) Doolittle, Christy (Anthony Rodriguez) Doolittle, and Craig Doolittle. He is also survived by his nephews: Brison, Landon, Alexander, Azadyn, Grayson, Jared, Christian, Nicholas, and Dre; his nieces: Madison, Alexys, and McKinley; his closest cousins: Alex and Garrett Doolittle; his closest friends: Kyle, Jarad, Deron, and Zach, and his best friend Ethan; along with many additional friends and coworkers who were more like family to him. Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Doolittle; his brother, Charlie Doolittle; his grandmother, Stella Karek; his grandfather, Glen; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
