Carol Lynn Snyder

     Carol Snyder, age 79, of Ithaca, went to be with the Lord peacefully on May 27, 2026, while residing at Country Friends Assisted Living. 
     Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
     She was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Carol was the daughter of Milton and Jean (Lackey) Inabinet. She later grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, where she graduated and built many lifelong friendships and memories.
     Carol was known for her warm heart and the joy she found in spending time with those she loved most. She especially enjoyed cooking whenever family gathered together, sharing meals, laughter, and stories around the table. She loved taking drives to enjoy the sights, visiting with family and friends, enjoying her morning coffee on the deck, playing bingo with fellow residents, and was a fan of Elvis Presley.
     She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Inabinet; her mother, Jean (Lackey) Inabinet; her brother, Jim (Dolly) Inabinet; and her sister-in-law, Kym Inabinet.
     Carol is survived by her sons, Craig (Jane) Snyder and Shawn (Lori) Snyder; her cherished grandchildren, Nathan (Samantha) Barnes, Madyson, Derrick, and Logan Snyder, and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Murphy, Landon and Addilynn Barnes, her brother Ed Inabinet, sister Janice (Dan) Colvin and dear friend, Dee Cook.
      Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, her caring spirit, and the happiness she brought to those around her.
