Carlos L. Castillo

Carlos L. Castillo, age 58, of Alma, died Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Schnepp Health Care in St. Louis, surrounded by his family.

Carlos was born October 14, 1960, in Carson City, the son of Julio R. and Francisca (Loera) Castillo. Carlos graduated form Ithaca High School in 1979, and worked in Lansing for several years. He loved sports, especially football, and was a Cowboys fan. He was a kindhearted person, and enjoyed Mexican music. He loved his son Carlos, Jr., who was the greatest joy in his life.

Carlos is survived by his son, Carlos, Jr. of Alma; his brothers and sisters, Joe (Cindy) Castillo of Ithaca, Renato Castillo of Niles, Rosa (Jim) Garcia of Ithaca, Rita (Dave) Fabela of Ithaca, Julia Castillo of Alma, David (Kim) Castillo of Alma, Fred (Tina) Castillo of Ithaca; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Julio.

There will be a memorial visitation 1-4 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.
