Bobbie V. (Mosley) Jones

     Bobbie V. Jones, age 80, of Ovid, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

     A cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Bobbie will be buried beside her first husband Jack Murray in Screven Cemetery, Screven, GA.

     Bobbie was born in Screven, GA on December 21, 1942, the daughter of Robert Osteen and Mildred V. (Tootle) Mosley. She graduated from Screven High School, Screven, GA with the class of 1961.  In 1962, Bobbie married James Jack Murray in Screven, GA; he preceded her in death in 1994, In 1995, Bobbie married Ronald D. Jones, Sr. in Bradenton, FL; he preceded her in death in 2019.

     Bobbie was a very giving person. Strangers quickly became friends. She loved to help anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking and knitting. Bobbie dedicated her life to caring for her family and loved having her home full of family and friends.

     Bobbie is survived by three children: Ronald (Sherry) Jones Jr., Karen (Dennis) Laughlin, and Paul (Ashlee) Murray; eight grandchildren: Cory Jones, Jordan Laughlin, Lauren Laughlin, Megan (Scott) McFadden, Nikolaus Murray, Jack Murray, Beau Murray, and Adalee Murray; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings: Dinah (Pete) Pye, Cheryl Dunham, and Michael (Patti) Mosley; brother-in-law Glynn Murray, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jack Murray, second husband Ronald Jones, Sr., and sister Janice Murray.
