Billie Jo Hagerman

     Billie Jo "Billy Goat" Hagerman, age 62, of Alma, MI, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Gratiot, Alma, MI.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Alma, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, with William DeVuyst officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In honor of Billie, the family would encourage you to wear your bib overalls.
     Billie was born in Alma, Michigan on April 8, 1964, the son of Edwin Robert and Estella Ann (Mills) Hagerman. Billie married Vicki Erlenbeck on May 30, 1998, in Riverdale, MI.
     Billie took pride in maintaining his yard and he enjoyed landscaping. He liked watching NASCAR and attending the races. Billie loved feeding the birds in his yard and watching them out his window. He will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need.
     He is survived by wife Vicki Hagerman; children: Joshua Hagerman, Preston and Brianna Hagerman, Bishop Hagerman, and Gabrielle Hagerman, his grandchildren: Nicholas, Oliver, and Josephine; his siblings: John and Teresa Hagerman, Jackie Sluiter, sisters and brothers-in-law: Shelly and Richard Rhyan, and Judy and David Babcock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dominique, siblings: Edwin, Doug and Robbyen and his beloved dog Ginger.
