Beulah Mae Helman, age 97, of Hudson, New Hampshire, formerly of Ithaca, died March 13, 2015 in New Hampshire.
Beulah was born in Flint, on May 22, 1917, the daughter of Alfred DeLisle and Maude (Piper) Burd. She married Rexford Helman in Flint, Michigan, on May 31, 1935. They made their home in Ithaca, Michigan. Soon after that, they moved to the family farm north of Ithaca and began their family, as their family enlarged to include daughter Lucile, and sons Richard and Raymond. They later moved to the Lansing area, where Beulah worked for Dr. Fortino as a dental assistant.
After retiring they moved back to the Ithaca area and enjoyed being “home” again. After many years they moved to live with their son-in-law and daughter, Dan and Lucile Norton in Hudson, N.H.
Beulah loved her children, family gatherings, and her church families. She was a generous and caring mother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Lucile Norton, of Hudson, N.H., her sons, Richard (Marlene) Helman of Pittsboro, N.C., and Raymond (Gail) Helman, of Middleton, MI; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rexford.
Beulah’s faith was in God and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She is now in heaven in the presence of God, and with her family and friends who have gone before her.

Interment will be in Ithaca Cemetery, The Helman family is being served by the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.
