Beth Dean

Beth Dean died July 16, 2009 at the age of 90. Born August 29, 1918, in St. Johns, MI, the daughter of Clifford and Iva (Wright) Halsted. She married Lester Dean on October 24, 1936, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1994.

She is survived by son, Ronald (Barbara) Dean and daughter, Sandy Champlin, 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Virgil (Vada) Halsted, Frank Halsted and sister, Alice Aldrich.

The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, July 20, 2009, at the Abbott Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 509 E. Main St., Maple Rapids, MI, with Jason Dean officiating, no visitation will be held. A private burial will take place after the funeral service.
