Barbara June Hyatt

     Barbara June “Barb” Hyatt, age 78, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025.
     Per Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI, at a later date.
     Barb was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 22, 1947, she was the daughter of August Herman Richard and June Anita (Birkett) Hoppe. She graduated from Eastern High School with the class of 1965. Barb would go on to become a nurse's aide at Sparrow Hospital, then Visiting Nurses before her retirement. She married Richard Eugene Hyatt, on October 26, 1968, at North Presbyterian Church in Lansing, MI. They were blessed with fifty-four years of marriage prior to his passing on May 23, 2023.
     Barb and Buzz loved to go camping all over Michigan in the summertime.
     Barb is survived by her daughter Eugenia Hyatt; her sister Leanne Claucherty, and her brother David (Trina) Hoppe. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Casey Huckaba, Dakota Huckaba, and Dustin Hyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buzz, her son Duane Hyatt, her brother Doug Hoppe, and her brother-in-law Jim Claucherty.
