Barbara Ellen Daniels

      Barbara Ellen Daniels, age 93, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, Michigan.
      A Memorial Service will be held at St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, Michigan, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with Pastor Jut Daron officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, MI.
     Barbara was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 20, 1932, the daughter of Harlo Jeffery and Marjorie (Cook) Smith. On August 26, 1950, Barbara married Casper Andrew Daniels at Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Louis, Michigan. They were blessed with sixty-five years of marriage prior to his death on February 20, 2016.
     Barbara devoted herself to her family and caring for her home. She loved tending her flowers and gardens. She enjoyed watching the birds, especially hummingbirds "hummers," and her kitties, Patches and Billy. She liked camping and anything outdoors. She helped Casper build 7 houses. She had a gift of hospitality and made everyone feel welcome and special. Barbara loved the color lavender.
     She is survived by her son Bruce (Joy) Daniels of St. Louis, MI; her son Brook (Dana) Daniel of Ithaca, MI; her grandchildren: Braden Fowler, April Fisher, Shawn Figueroa, Tara Etheridge, Melissa Hawley, Jeremy Daniels, Matthew Daniels, Tiffany (Rick) Edgar , and Zachary Daniels; also many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her sister Bonnita Lehman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Casper, daughters: Valorie Daniels, and Vickie Etheridge; granddaughter Tracie Carey, siblings: Harlo "Junior" Smith, Vernal (Verna) Smith, and Ronwick (Annette) Smith.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Schnepp Senior Care and Rehab Center (427 E. Washington St. St. Louis, MI 48880) or Pine Haven Assisted Living (515 N.
