Barbara Jean Baldwin

Barbara Jean Baldwin, 89, of Wheeler, Michigan went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018

She was born March 31, 1929 the daughter of Benno and Lottie (Welling) Hoffmeyer of Wheeler, Michigan

Barbara married Ellsworth Baldwin on June 1, 1947. He preceded her in death June 7, 1999.

Barbara was a homemaker most of her life. She worked for the Grandparenting Program at Breckenridge Elementary School. She loved to work in her beautiful vegetable and flower gardens, and crochet her beautiful pineapple stick doilies. She was a very talented painter of wild life on saw blades and canvas. She attended Parkside Assembly Church in St. Louis, Michigan where she played the piano for many years. In her later years she attended Oasis Church in Ithaca, Michigan.

She will be sadly missed by her children Eric (Connie) Baldwin of Wheeler, MI, Mark (Georgann) Baldwin of Wheeler, MI,  Dawn (Jim) Black of Greenville, MI; grandchildren Erica (Steve) Wiggins of St. Louis, MI, Jason (Mandy) Baldwin of Midland, MI, Jeremy (Becky) Baldwin of Breckenridge, MI, Laura (Gino) Sabucco of Flint, MI, Doug Black of Greenville, MI, Vicki (Ted) Melinowski Lakeview, MI; and several great grandchildren Mackenzie Strong, Miranda Strong, Miles Strong, Macey Wiggins, Lucas Baldwin, Anna Baldwin, Katie Baldwin, Tawney Baldwin, Hailey Sabucco, Cain Sabucco, Riley Sabucco, Zayda Melinowski, and Aria Melinowski.

A memorial service will be held at Oasis Community Church, 1250 E. Washington Rd., Ithaca, MI 48847 on October 13, 2018 at 11am.
