Arza McIntyre Jr. age 79 of Bancroft, Michigan passed away Thursday, January 1, 2004 at his home.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 5, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, Michigan. There will be no visitation.
Arza was born on December 11, 1924 in Boyne City, Michigan the son of Arda & Vickie (Border) McIntyre. He served in the U.S. Army in WW2 and was a member of American Legion Post 57 of Owosso, Michigan. He had worked in the shipping & receiving department for CHW in Chesaning, Michigan. He was raised in Flint and spent the past 40 years in Bancroft, Michigan. He was a pet lover. He married Sharron L. Arnett on July 11, 1960 in Swartz Creek, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Sharron L. McIntyre, Bancroft, Michigan, 3 children; Arza & Lori McIntyre of Titusville, FL, Scherry & Mike Sleeseman of Fowler, Michigan, Scheila & Tim Davis of Biloxi, Mississippi, 5 Grandchildren, Katie, Desiree, Hollie, Shane, and Cody. 1 sister; Dora Deadman of Holly, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 57 of Owosso, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
