Arthur Allan Spencer

     Arthur Allan Spencer, age 80, of Elsie, MI, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2026, with Carol Kusnier officiating. Burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
     Arthur was born in Owosso, MI on April 28, 1946, the son of Herman "Bill" Arthur and Mosetta Gertrude (Weeks) Spencer. On June 12, 1965, Arthur married Flora Maye Wheeler at the First Church of Christ in Owosso, MI.
     Art worked for General Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Western. Art also enjoyed spending time out in his garage or in his yard. Art loved to take rides on his side by side on the trails while spending time at their property in Grayling, "Hoot Acres". Most of all, Art loved spending time with his family.
     He is survived by his wife Flora Spencer of Elsie, MI; son Paul and Rachel Spencer of Albion, MI; son Christopher Spencer of Bannister, MI; daughter Tricia Spencer of Elsie, MI; four grandchildren: Danielle Spencer, Janae Spencer, Floricia Wadsworth, and Fred Wadsworth; four great-grandchildren: Natalie, Chase, Myla, and Oakley. Art was preceded in death by his parents, son Timothy Spencer, and siblings: Harold Spencer, Doug Spencer, Jay Spencer, Peggy Cabala, Sarah, Mary Davis and a brother Billy in infancy.
