Arnold Lee Rosekrans

     Arnold Lee Rosekrans, age 87, of Elsie, Michigan passed away peacefully Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Haven of Rest Hospice House, Owosso, Michigan surrounded by the love of his family.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, Michigan, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, with Pastor JD Paik officiating. Burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
     Arnold was born in Ovid, Michigan on July 28, 1938, the son of Gordon Lyle and Maxine Fern (Weller) Rosekrans. He was blessed to be raised by his grandparents Don and Gladys Rosekrans. He graduated from Elsie High School, with the Class of 1956. Arnold proudly served his country in the United States Army. While stationed at Fort Hood in Texas, Arnold met Betty Lou White. They were married on June 16, 1963, in Temple, Texas. They have been blessed with sixty-two years of marriage.
     Arnold loved working outdoors and caring for his property. He enjoyed trips to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee with the family and to Texas to visit Betty's family. Arnold was an animal lover and always had a variety of animals.
     He is survived by his wife BettyRosekrans; his son Ronnie Rosekrans; his daughter Bonnie (Mark) Crist; and his brother Spencer (Barb) Reitz. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine (Richard) Reitz, father Gordon Rosekrans, grandparents Don and Gladys Rosekrans, his daughter-in-law Brenda Rosekrans, and his sister Joyce (Dan) Bendall.
