Arland Jean “Dollie” Hull, age 97, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Masonic Pathways, Alma with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, at 11:30 A.M on Thursday, January 8, 2026, with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hamilton Township Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., MI at a later date.
She was born to Frank and Lena Weber and grew up on the family farm in rural Sheridan. She graduated from Carson City High School. After graduation, she worked at the store and gas station in Butternut. She met her future husband, and love of her life, Marvin Hull, at the Crystal Roller Rink. After marrying Marvin, they lived and worked on the family farm in rural Ithaca. Marvin passed away in 1993.
Dollie served as a volunteer at the Michigan Masonic Home and enjoyed playing bridge with a women's bridge league. She was a fabulous seamstress, making many items for herself and family members and was a wonderful cook, often making family favorites. She enjoyed taking painting classes with Marvin after they retired.
She was always focused on her family and is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker.
Dollie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Marvin, her son Steven, her parents Frank and Lena Weber and her siblings, Dale (Betty) Weber, Lucille (Burt) Ralph, Edna (Owen) Springsteen and Sally Woodbury.
She is survived by 3 children: Michael (Lynn) Hull, Candace Hull, and John (Valerie) Hull; grandchildren: Brady (Amber) Hull, and Kyle (Samantha) Hull; and great-grandchildren: Calvin, Briggs, Avary and Colton Hull as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply and dearly missed by her family.
Her family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Michigan Masonic Home for their care and kindness to "Miss Dollie" and to the staff of Heartland Hospice for their kindness and support.
