Ardis Williams

Ardis Evonne Williams, age 96, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021, at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI.

Ardis was born in Carson City, Michigan on October 31, 1924, the daughter of Ceo and Amy (Rasor) Bauer.  Ardis graduated from Carson City High School with the class of 1940.  She went on to attend Lansing Business College.  Ardis married Roger Williams on June 17, 1947, in Kentucky.  Roger passed away on October 14, 2003.

Ardis and her husband Roger owned and operated Rasor's Edge in Ithaca for 50 years.  She loved to make delicious meals, to yard sale, to play cards, and to cheer on the Spartans.  Most of all she loved her family immensely.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberlee and Carl Urbon of Portage, MI, sons: Kip Williams of Ithaca, MI, Kelly Williams of Ithaca, MI, grandchildren: Todd and Tracy McNeilly of Pinckney, MI, Tonya and Jim Dixon of Caledonia, MI, Chanda and Mike Shook of Springfield, VA, Casey and Maggie Williams of Freeland, MI, Daniel and Lisa Urbon of Florence, KY, and Shannon Urbon of Detroit, MI, great grandchildren: Jenny Weaver and Christopher Roper, Kelly and Tommy Hazamy, Amy and Pete Uthe, Griffin McNeilly, McKenna, Addison, Caden, and Breckyn Dixon, Caleigh and Keelyn Shook, Cash and Cohen Williams, Dante, Dalton, and Dayde Williams, Charlotte and Henley Urbon, and great-great grandchildren: Kassie and Tommy Hazamy; brother Ceo (Jr.) Bauer of Ithaca, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Chal Bauer.
