Anthony Yung Kyoon Le Veque, age 43, of Dexter, MI, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Cremation will take place and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date. Burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.
Tony was born in Seoul Korea, on October 24, 1982, the son of Daniel Joseph Le Veque and Deborah Ann (LaCosse) Le Veque. He graduated from St. Johns High School with the class of 2001. Tony went on to obtain his Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and Master's from Webster University.
Tony enjoyed hiking, kayaking, golfing, exercising, and walking his dog Baeja. He liked playing Dungeons and Dragons with Shiloh. He was a devoted Michigan Wolverines fan and Detroit Lions fan. He served in the Air Force National Guard for 13 years. Tony was stationed in Battle Creek and was deployed to Kuwait during the Iraq War.
He is survived by his partner Joanne Barnhart of Dexter, MI; her son Shiloh Barnhart of Dexter, MI; parents Daniel and Deborah Le Veque of St. Johns, MI; his sister Natasha and Chad Walden of Middleton, MI; his brother Joshua and Elizabeth Le Veque of Portland, MI; grandmother Alice LaCosse of Oconto, WI; nieces and nephews: Caleb and Jourdan Walden of Saline, MI; Alli Walden and Jamison Goerge of Fowler, MI; Avery Walden of Ann Arbor, MI; and Lucas Le Veque of Portland, MI; and great-nephew: Brooks Walden. He was preceded in death by grandfather Kenneth LaCosse, grandparents James and Jacqueline Le Veque, cousin Timothy Le Veque, aunt Diana Bonneau, uncle Brian LaCosse and uncle Gary Zinda.
