Ann Ringle entered her heavenly rest at Rosewood AFC on January 31, 2017.
Ann was born September 14, 1932 to Elijah and Bessie White in Hardenville, Missouri. On December 26, 1953, she married Edward Ringle in Hardenville, Missouri. She and Edward then moved to North Star, Michigan where she resided most of her life.
Ann worked several years at Eyer’s Drug Store, then at Snyder’s Grocery, the small grocery store in North Star. She was also a clerk at the North Star Post Office for several years before becoming the Postmistress, which she held until retiring in 1988.
Ann greatly enjoyed working in the garden and canning and freezing, as well as crocheting and singing.
Ann is survived by her spouse, Edward; daughter Becky (Randy) of Crossville, Tennessee; grandson Matthew (Danielle) of North Star; and great granddaughter Alivia. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Justin, sisters Pauline, Bernie, Donna, Sue, and her brother Earl.
Funeral services for Ann will be 11am Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Ithaca Church of God. Pastor Tom Whitesel will officiate and burial will follow at North Star Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday, February 3, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.
