Alvera Rodman

Alvera Grace Rodman, age 87, formerly of DeWitt, Michigan, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Family Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, Michigan.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.  Burial will take place on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Rowley Cemetery, Williamston, Michigan at 10:00 A. M.

Alvera was born in Medaryville, Indiana on May 21, 1934, the daughter Emmett and Laura Daisy (Fritz) Kruger.  She married Maurice M. Rodman, on July 6, 1957; at East DeWitt Bible Church in DeWitt, MI. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage, prior to his passing on November 4, 2004.

She is survived by children: Lynn and Bob Fox of Lansing, MI, Ann and David Foreman of Lehigh, Florida, and Patty Rouse of Laingsburg, MI.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Maurice, 3 children: Sue Moore, Kay Rodman, and Kitty Lawrence.
