Alma Grace Moyes

     Alma Grace Moyes, age 96, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
     Funeral Services will be held at the St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, with Dr. Keith Wise. Burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery, Seville Twp., MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 5-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI and again on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
     Alma was born in Alma, Michigan on July 19, 1929, the daughter of James and Ethel (Bryce) Taylor. Alma married George Moon and together they raised 5 children before his passing. She later married Elton Moyes they shared 19 years together before his passing.
     In her earlier years she liked camping, putt-putt golf and bus tours with family and friends. Alma enjoyed crocheting and made many items to give away to friends. She was a dedicated member of St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI and looked forward to attending local Jamboree's. Most of all, Alma loved time spent with her family.
     She is survived by her children: Randall Moon of Elmira, NY; Marcia Mussillo of Mt. Pleasant, MI; Gregory Moon of Canadian Lakes, MI; and Phillip and Sherri Moon of Ithaca, MI; grandchildren: Kim Moon, Jeff and Erin Moon, Lisa Vandermeer, James Moon, Joe Little, Jane West, Bobbie Bennett, John and Jody Carrick, Alan and Lisa Carrick, Heather and Tom Comer, Tiffany and Sergio Bucciarelli, Jessica Moon, Joshua Moon, Emily and Jon Rayburn, Zachary and Amanda Whipple, and Aaron Moon. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her sisters: Joyce Clark and Judy Sutton. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter Rosemary Badgley, grandson Jeremiah Moon, sisters: Virginia, Marilyn, Terry, and Gladys, and brothers: Vernon, Duane and Walter.
