Allen was born in Henderson, MI on July 31, 1934, the son of Raymond and Martha (Crippin) Bebow. In his childhood, Allen was a member of his local Boy Scout Troop. On November 9, 1952, Allen married the love of his life, Shirley(Miske) Bebow.
He retired from General Motors after thirty-one years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 652. When he wasn't working at GM, Allen and his best friend, Louis, would also build houses from the ground up.

Allen was an avid outdoorsman, going fishing and rabbit hunting with his son whenever he could; and made sure his yard looked pristine year round. Allen also had a passion for elephants and collected anything elephant-related.
He was a family man through and through as well. Allen loved playing cards, or the marble game "Aggravation" with his kids, going to races, going to jamborees, playing bingo, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be most remembered for the time he devoted to his wonderful family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Bebow of 74 years of St. Johns, MI; children: Vickie (David) Loomis of Eureka, MI; Deborah (Roger) Badgett of St. Johns, MI; and Scott (Debra) Bebow of Laingsburg, MI; and sister Norita Anderson, of St. Johns, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and neighbors Tim Race and Carol Gross. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Alvin "Sam" Bebow, brother-in-law and best friend Louis Anderson, and his beloved dog Princess.
