Agnes H. Jason, age 78, of Middleton, MI, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her home.
There will be no services. Burial will take place at a later date at New Haven Township Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI.
Agnes was born in Alma, Michigan on July 16, 1945, the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Raducha) Schaub. She graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1963, and went on to obtain her associates degree in nursing from LCC. Agnes married Franklin D. "Frank" Jason on September 27, 1969, in Perrinton, Michigan; Frank passed away June 4, 2015.
Agnes worked at Carson City Hospital and Brown's Nursing Home (The Laurel's of Fulton) as a nurse for many years. She also worked for many local businesses' including: Dodge Funeral Home and Gratiot Trash as a secretary, she worked on various dairy farms, and also worked in food service for L&L Food Center before her retirement. Agnes and Frank had a hobby farm for many years. She was a 4-H leader in Gratiot County and enjoyed genealogy. Agnes was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was very giving and would always try her hardest to help anyone in need, whether a person or animal.
She is survived by her 3 children: Mindy and Darrell Thomas of Maple Rapids, MI; Mary Jason of Middleton, MI; John and Salina Jason of Belding, MI; 6 grandchildren: Catherine, Cody (Kaylah), Kyle, Nash, Jerrold, and Anissa; and great-grandson Carson. She is also survived by her brother William H. Schaub of Middleton and sisters-in-law: Earlene Schaub, Evelyn Peffers, Lillian Tillitson, Marcella Braugher, and Dianna Vasquez. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank, sister Diane Schaub and brother Harry Schaub.
