Barbara Jean Ewing age 70 of Ithaca, MI died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Gratiot Community Hospital Alma, MI
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 from 6-8 P.M.
Barbara was born in Alma, MI on March 12, 1935 the daughter of Warren and Elizabeth ( Hollenbeck ) Stone
She grew up in Alma, and then lived in Arizona & Florida for many years before moving back to Ithaca. Barbara married Jack Ewing on June 20, 1953 at the Alma Church of God. She was a homemaker. She loved her dog Killer, and her crossword puzzles. Some of her best times were riding in her daughters semi-truck traveling.
She is survived by her husband Jack Ewing of Ithaca, MI, 3 children; Jack Ewing Jr. of Ohio, Lori Ogle of Nashville, MI, Billie Jo & Mike Eckhoff of Nashville, MI, 6 grandchildren; Kelly Jo & Ric Carroll of Nashville, MI, Daniel & Jill Woodall of Hastings, MI, Christopher Eckhoff of Nashville, MI, Marcus Eckhoff of Nashville, MI, Tanin Eckhoff of Nashville, MI, Jessica Eckhoff of Nashville, MI, 2 great grandchildren; Dakota & Hailey Woodall, and a half-sister Lela Wert of Alma, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, and several siblings.
Memorials may In lieu of flowers, be made to a charity of the donor's choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
