Elsie, MI. Samuel A. and Carol E. Smith, Owners and Operators, Smith Family Funeral Homes announced they have purchased the Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso, Michigan from former owners, Service Corporation International (SCI) Houston, Texas. The purchase was effective August 1, 2007.

Plans are being made to renovate the chapel. The stately facility will continue to feature the intimacy and venerable tradition the Jennings-Lyons Chapel is known for, along with a number of updated conveniences and enhanced personal services.
